About Erin

My
Story
Hi, I'm Erin!
I began my journey to womBwork back in 2018 when I completed my birth and postpartum doula certification through Doula Trainings International. After having spent my undergraduate degree studying Women and Gender Studies at Nazareth College, I knew I wanted to pursue supporting people through bodily autonomy and choice. What better way to do that than by becoming a doula.
Throughout college I used yoga as a way to keep me grounded and my body feeling well - which led me to taking my yoga teacher training through Boston Yoga School with Ame Wren. This training ignited my appreciation for the mind, body, and spirit connection as well as the importance of alignment and listening to your body.
After teaching yoga for a few years, and the impact of COVID on doula support, I knew there was a missing piece of the puzzle for me when it came to what I can offer. I decided to go back to school for Massage Therapy at SUNY Morrisville and received my NYS massage license in 2024. Throughout my massage career I have had the privilege of working extensively with veterans for chronic pain management, as well as a variety of clients including prenatal, geriatric, and athletes. I have completed continuing education in prenatal massage and advanced prenatal massage through AMTA. I am also a certified Abdominal Therapy Practitioner through the Abdominal Therapy Collective led by Rosita Arvigo and trained by Amy Colo.
I am so excited to be able to offer a well-rounded collection of services that focus on women's health, the mind-body connection, and supporting choices. As a womb worker, I hope to be able to support my clients through all stages of life and the choices that come along with them.
Warmly,
Erin
